Surya meets contest winners

Sharmila and Sanjay, two diehard Surya fans from Chennai, had the best time of their lives on December 19th, when they met their matinee idol face to face, shook hands with him, and were presented a guitar autographed by him and the Vaaranam Aayiram team. Thanks to Sony BMG, who held a first-of-its-kind contest which promised this unique guitar to the winner of a lucky draw. To participate in the draw, one had to buy an audio CD of Vaaranam Aayiram.
Sony BMG, who owns the music rights of Vaaranam Aayiram, took Sharmila and Sanjay directly to the Ayan shooting spot on to meet Suriya. The awestruck fans spent a few minutes with their matinee idol and clicked a few photographs to savour the moment for life.
Vaaranam Aayiram, a film about father-son relationship directed by Gautham Menon, has been doing well in the theatres. Heroines Sameera Reddy and Divya Spandana have gained quite a lot of fans throughout Tamil Nadu and are looking forward to add more in future.
