Singam gets U/A certificate

Surya's silver jubilee film 'Singam' which is slated for release on May 28 has been certified with U/A by the censor board. Sun Pictures is on plans to start the promotional campaigns in all networks of Sun by this week.

Director Hari says “It will be a typical mass masala entertainer with all essential ingredients that our audiences love”. Surya plays Dorai Singam, a dirty cop role in the film. Glamorous Anushka pairs with Surya for the first time in the film. The action sequences of the film have been shot in Tamilnadu locales of Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli regions.
