Shanthnoo and Bhagyaraj joined new film
Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj introduced himself to movie audiences with the film 'Sakkarakatti'. The movie had an average response with city audiences and proved to be a damp squib in B and C centers. This has probably prompted the young actor, son of veteran filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj to try and woo filmgoers in towns and villages.
'I want to prove myself as an actor who can fascinate B & C center audiences' declares Shantanoo. The youngster seems to be on the right vehicle to do so. His next film 'Puthiya Varpugal' is written and directed by his father who was might successful in fascinating audiences all over Tamilnadu with his slick and unique style of story telling.
'The first half of the film would be simply loved by the youth. The second half would have sentiments and great twists' says Shantanoo. Dwelling further, he says that his father still has the habit of writing dialogues only at the shooting spot and that he makes it a point to memorize them before acting out. The name 'Puthiya Varpugal' may go in for a name change because a film with the same name starring Bhagayaraj was made decades ago.
A debutante Shanthini Tamizharasan will be introduced as heroine.
Shantanoo would be acting in a film produced by Sathyajothi Films after 'Puthiya Varpugal'.
