Manirathnam waits for ten hours

Raavan is a film being made in Tamil and Hindi languages. This film which has Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai and Priyamani in the cast is being directed by Manirathnam.
Manirathnam had planned to shoot a scene wherein a cow gives birth to a calf. For this purpose a big cow shed was erected in Orcha in Madhya Pradesh. 20 pregnant cows which were at the point of delivering calves were brought to this shed.
Since one cow was ready to give birth to a calf, the camera was positioned at 6 A M itself. After waiting for 10 hours the cow delivered a calf. Abhishek who acted in this scene said a dialogue by clapping his hands in happiness that the cow has delivered a calf. The crew said that they never forget this scene in their life time.
