Kamal to start A Wednesday remake

Kamal Haasan will be producing the Tamil remake of Neeraj Pandey's highly acclaimed A Wednesday under his Rajkamal banner in association with UTV.
The grapevine has it that some minor changes will be made to the script, to make it suitable for Tamil audiences.
The shoot of the film is likely to start in Hyderabad on February 25, a Wednesday!
The film will be directed by Chakri, a US based filmmaker and a close friend of Kamal. It will be a quickie that will be over in 65 days of shoot.
Kamal Hassan will play the role done by Naseeruddin Shah, while Mohanlal will play the Police commissioners' role.
The new boy Ganesh Venkatram (Abhiyum Naanum fame) will do Jimmy Shergill's encounter specialist role. Talks are going on with Nagarjuna to do Mohanlal's role for the Telugu version.
