CBI arrests censor board regional officer

The new regional censor officer D Rajasekharan, attached to the Regional Central Board of Film Certification in Chennai was caught red handed by the CBI's anti-corruption wing, while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from producer Govindarajan.
In a complaint to the CBI, Govindaraju, executive producer of S3 Films had alleged that Rajasekaran had demanded a bribe of Rs 25, 000 for issuing a censor certificate to his Kadhal Solla Vandhen.
When Govindrajan gave the bribe, the CBI nabbed Rajasekharan, whose house in Kottivakkam was also searched. The CBI team had seized several incriminating documents in the search.
