Manirathnam watches Inception

On Thursday night, Mani Rathnam attended the Chennai premiere of one of his favourite Hollywood director Memento, The Dark Knight fame Christopher Nolan's Inception at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai.
Mani Sir accompanied by his wife Suhasini was given the best seats at Serine, by Supriya the PR chief of the multiplex. Mani sir normally never attends premieres, but this time he made an exception as he wanted to watch Nolan's talked about film which has been getting rave reviews in the international media.
Remember a few days earlier when Mani Ratnam's Raavan (Ravanan in Tamil) was savaged by the critics, which led to its failure at the box-office.
However Mani Ratnam was chilled out and took it in his stride, as it was his baby after all. After the show he was all praise for Inception.
